Abstract

Ecocriticism is one of the literary theories that has received attention in recent years in Iran. This critique examines how humans interact with the external environment; This method of interaction implicitly contains a special discourse that the writer or narrator conveys to the audience using the situational, verbal and historical, cultural, economic and social background of the story or incident. In this research, with a descriptive-analytical method, Ali Ashraf Darvishian's naturalist views in two collections of stories "Abshouran" and "Along with Babam's Songs" have been investigated. In the realistic works of Darvishian, nature is not considered the only place where incidents occur; Rather, as the background and the main ground of the story, it is the factor that drives the events and directly affects the characters and is also mutually affected by people and their decisions. The relationship between the two sides of nature and the life of the lower class had clearly influenced the Darvishian. The main issue of this research is to investigate and analyze the meaning that can be seen in the two sets of stories mentioned in connection with nature; Therefore, under the headings of "Ideology and Discourse", "Discourse and Power" and "Destructive Discourses and Two Sided Discourses", the relationship between nature and humans in the works of Darvishian was discussed. The interpretation of the mentioned cases shows that the ecosystem and the ecological discourse have a great role in the formation of reality and its perception, names, ideology and its power over the subordinate people.
