Abstract

Lacan believed that educational institutions with the title of university can never provide knowledge to the subject as a phallus. Accordingly, the academic discourse refers to the discourse of the master and the psychoanalytic discourse (hysterical discourse) refers only to the discourse of science. According to his opinion, the subject crosses the line in the academic discourse and suffers losses or deficits; While in hysterical or psychoanalytic discourse, with the revelation of the loss in the big other, the subject passes knowledge in the position of the phallus. In this research, using the teachings of Jacques Lacan and relying on the qualitative analysis method, we have evaluated the stories of Autumn is The last Season of The Year, The Previous Stroke and Some Authentic Narratives About God. The results of the research show that in stories Autumn is The last Season of The Year and The Previous Stroke, The subject has placed him in a state of blindness towards his desire and castrated his desire and fulfilled the desire of another, which is why academic discourse has prevailed in these two stories ; A discourse that refers to the master's discourse; However, in Some Authentic Narratives About God, students have come out of the state of blindness and have remained loyal to the sign of their desire, and by revealing the lack of a great other, they have shown hysterical resistance to the academic discourse; Therefore, the hysterical discourse has referred to the discourse of knowledge.
